ŌURA is bringing its health and performance technology deeper into professional tennis, announcing long-term partnerships with American stars Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz ahead of the 2026 US Open.
The partnerships highlight how elite athletes are increasingly looking beyond traditional training to understand the role sleep, recovery, travel and everyday habits play in sustained performance. Both Gauff and Fritz are using insights from the Oura Ring 5 as they prepare for the demanding final Grand Slam tournament of the season.
Designed to provide detailed health and wellness data in a lightweight form, the Oura Ring allows athletes to monitor important signals without disrupting their routines. For Gauff and Fritz, that information offers another perspective on how their bodies respond to competition, training and the challenges of a lengthy tennis calendar.
“People see the results, but they don’t see everything that goes into being ready to compete at this level, week after week,” Gauff said. She emphasized that managing pressure begins well before stepping onto the court, particularly during tournaments where recovery time between matches can be limited.
For Gauff, the partnership reflects an approach centered on composure, self-awareness and understanding her body. One of the sport’s most recognizable stars, she has learned to balance the physical demands of competition with the pressure and visibility that come with competing at the highest level.
Fritz brings a complementary philosophy built around consistency and durability. A longtime ATP top-10 player, he views sleep, recovery and disciplined routines as essential components of maintaining performance throughout the season.

“Anyone can have a good week. Consistency is what’s paramount,” Fritz said. “Oura helps me see how my daily habits add up over time, and it keeps my routine sustainable over a long season.”
The partnerships will be supported by an integrated marketing campaign featuring both players and focusing on their lives beyond competition.
Gauff’s campaign returns to Atlantic Community High School, her family’s alma mater and a place with deep personal significance. Her grandmother was among the first Black students to attend the school following integration. The campaign connects Gauff’s family legacy and love of reading with her development into one of tennis’ premier players.
Fritz’s story, meanwhile, follows his evolution from professional athlete to entrepreneur, presenting a broader picture of a modern tennis star building opportunities beyond the court.
ŌURA Chief Marketing Officer Doug Sweeny said the partnerships reflect the company’s broader vision of sustainable performance through greater understanding of the body.
As Gauff and Fritz pursue success at the US Open, their partnerships with ŌURA underscore a growing reality in elite sports: preparation is no longer defined solely by what happens during practice. Increasingly, the difference can be found in the hours between workouts and matches—where sleep, recovery and informed decision-making help athletes remain ready for their next challenge.
